Scenario

The act involves between 2 and 4 dynamic, glamorous and very experienced opera singers, all of whom have played major roles with top opera companies and West End shows. The singers either masquerade as guests, waiters, chefs or whatever you want them to be, gradually revealing their operatic talents during the course of the evening to the amazement and delight of an unsuspecting audience- OR -they make a grand entrance, glamorously dressed in DJ’s, ball gowns and Venetian masks, serenading and interacting with the audience.

Opera Masquerades’ programmes are packed full of beautifully rousing arias and breathtaking musical theatre classics. Dashing tenors sweep the ladies off their feet and stunning sopranos will seduce unsuspecting gentlemen with opera favourites including:-

‘O Sole Mio’, I could have danced all night’, ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’, ‘Habanera’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Granada’, and ‘Nessun Dorma’. ‘The Drinking Song’ from ‘La Traviata’ brings the evening to such a resounding climax that audiences can’t help but join in!
